Coming from a robust background in managing complex investments and leading diverse teams, Evan's approach centers on translating technical insights into practical, actionable strategies. His deep understanding of financial modeling and his passion for environmental stewardship uniquely position him to lead Leaf & Ledger in bridging the gap between traditional real asset investments and innovative, climate-friendly solutions.

 

Evan brings over 20 years of front-office investment experience across Europe and the Americas, specializing in managing multifaceted situations and teams. Initially trained at one of Canada's leading institutional investors, he has extensive expertise in technical modeling, portfolio management, structured transactions, capital raising, and risk management across all major asset classes.

 

Prior to founding Leaf & Ledger, Evan was Head of Portfolio Management for Kennedy Wilson’s diverse portfolio of over €3 billion property assets in Ireland. His career also includes significant roles at prominent firms such as Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Avestus Capital Partners, and Granite REIT.

 

His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, supplemented by strategic management coursework from Harvard Extension School and specialist training from Moody’s UK Investor Training Service and The Marquee Group (LBO modeling).
